The C.C.R.E		The CCRE (the Coalition for Collision Repair Excellence) is the collision-damaged consumer’s best friend!  The efforts of this highly dedicated coalition of shops, and the webpage they maintain, is centered on improving the collision industry through educating shops on proper repair, and ways to empower consumers. CCRE goals include eliminating inferior (imitation/aftermarket) parts and inferior repairs. This website includes information on pertinent subjects such as Diminished Value, media articles, and state insurance departments, and the like.
Automotive Collision Repair Services		This New Hampshire-based site, hosted by a personal friend, colleague, and association leader, is a wealth of much-needed information that all auto owners need to seriously consider
ICAN 2000		This is a great internet site for consumer protection resource material.  The Insurance Consumer Advocate Network (ICAN), J.D. Howard, who formerly spent many years as an independent insurance appraiser, has since established this support network for the benefit of the insurance consuming public.  Checking out this site is well worth the time required
A.M. Best		A.M. Best rates insurers on complaints, claim handling, among many other things.
BodyShop Business		This is a source for the collision shop owner and technician. It is also regularly read by others interested in what is happening in the collision world.
Auto Body Repair News		This is primarily a site for keeping the collision repair industry informed and educated.  But it also contains articles of interest to consumers.
Pro Discussions Forum		This site contains, among other things, news articles of interest to consumers, as well as an area describing how consumer-oriented shops deal with the lack of ethics displayed by some insurers.
US Department of Transportation		This site contains, among other things, links to US DOT safety pages that are linked to other governmental agencies that deal with automotive issues.
National Highway Traffic Safety Institute		An arm of the US Department of Transportation, this site contains information on vehicle safety, passenger safety, crash test data, information on automotive component recalls, and the like.
