Air Conditioning & Heating
Almost every vehicle manufactured today has an air conditioning unit. With the press of a button you instantly have coolness in your car or truck making your summer travels much more enjoyable. But few vehicle owners realize that their Air Conditioning & heating system require regular maintaince. Some mechanics recommend that air conditioner systems be run for at least 10 minutes each month, even in the winter since the A/C system contains a light mineral oil in the refrigerant to keep the systems compressor properly lubricated. If your A/C or heating system is not operating properly allow us to repair it. Replacing the refrigerant in modern vehicles requires expert training & the right tools. The experienced Technicians of Modern Collision Rebuild & Service are trained and certified to service and repair your air conditioning and heating systems. -

Transmission Fluid Flush Service
Every 3 Years or 30,000 Miles
Why is this service important?
Your vehicle's automatic transmission system is designed to transfer power from the engine to the wheels at a consistent level. Transmission fluid is subject to tremendous amounts of heat and wear and it fails over time as the viscosity changes. Scheduled transmission fluid flushing replaces the friction modifiers of tranmission fluid, which are depleted over time, lengthens the life of the seals and clutches, removes the worn clutch material that forms over time & flushes the transmission cooler, torque converter and valve body.
How often should I have my transmission fluid flushed?
Every 3 years or 30,000 miles. The service interval we recommend is moderate, and based on our observations of thousands of vehicles over the years.
-
Cooling System Fluid Flush Service
Every 3 Years or 30,000 Miles
Why is this service important?
Your vehicle's cooling system is designed to cool internal engine components, prevent engine coolant freeze, lubricate water pump seals and bearings, and prevent internal engine corrosion. Scheduled cooling system flushes replenishes lubricants for the water pump bearings, reduces corrosion and oxidation of sensitive seals in your engine, provide optimum boil and freeze protection & prevents the foaming of the coolant that will lead to severe cooling system damage.
How often should I have my cooling system flushed?
Every 3 years or 30,000 miles. The coolant is tested for pH, reserve, alkalinity and protection levels. We will recommend you have this system serviced when these levels drop below acceptable levels. Having a cooling system fluid flush every 30,000 miles will help ensure that your cooling system lives a long and healthy life, and provides your engine with optimal protection. And with our value pricing and quick servicing, we get you back on the road quickly & economically.
If this important service is not done every 6 years or 30,000 miles, you may experience damage to the water pump, corrosion and leaks in the radiator or heater core, head gasket leaks & eventually, complete engine failure.

Fuel injection & system cleaning
The fuel injection flush System is a self-contained cleaning and diagnostic system, designed to connect to any gasoline engine. Once the unit is connected, it temporarily replaces the regular fuel supply with a mixture of gasoline and the specially formulated CarbonClean MV3 Internal Detergent. With the engine idling, the unit pumps the gasoline/detergent mixture through the engine's fuel system. As the mixture passes through the fuel loop, it loosens and dissolves accumulated deposits, which then pass harmlessly out through the exhaust system or are removed by the unit's fuel filter. Removing contaminants from the combustion chamber creates a more even burn of fuel, which improves horsepower, increases fuel economy, and reduces exhaust emissions. We recommended that you perform the fuel system cleaning procedure on a vehicle every 60,000 miles to obtain the highest fuel system efficiency.
-
Power Steering Fluid Flush Service
Every 3 Years or 30,000 Miles
Why is this service important?
Your vehicle's power steering system fluids provide lubrication, cooling & protection for the parts they surround. Scheduled power steering fluid flushing replenishes the additive package in the fluid that is depleted over time, lengthens the life of the seals and internal components of the system, removes the contaminants that wear the rack / steering box and pump and helps to reduce wear of the gears and shafts.
How often should I have my power steering system flushed?
Every 3 years or 30,000 miles. The coolant is tested for pH, reserve, alkalinity and protection levels. We will recommend you have this system serviced when these levels drop below acceptable levels. Having a cooling system fluid flush every 30,000 miles will help ensure that your cooling system lives a long and healthy life, and provides your engine with optimal protection. And with our value pricing and quick servicing, we get you back on the road quickly & economically.
Every 3 years or 30,000 miles. The service interval we recommend is moderate, and based on our observations of thousands of vehicles over the years. Having a power steering fluid flush every 30,000 miles will help ensure that your power steering system lives a long and healthy life, providing you with reliable and safe steering that you can depend on. And with our pricing and quick servicing, we get you back on the road quickly at a great price! If this important service is not done every 3 years or 30,000 miles, you may experience fluid leaks, a loss of steering assist (which can cause an accident if it occurs without warning), shortened power steering pump life and/or steering gear failure.
-
Brake Fluid Flush Service
Every 3 Years or 30,000 Miles
Why is this service important?
Your vehicle's brake fluid system is designed to transfer the pressure at the brake pedal into hydraulic pressure, which is used to compress the brake components. Scheduled brake fluid flushing assures that your brake fluid will not fail. Brake fluid absorbs moisture which destroys expensive parts. Moisture also causes brake fluid to boil at a lower temperature, affecting braking. A brake fluid flush removes corrosive metals from the brake system and is much less expensive to change than to have to replace some very expensive parts later.
How often should I have my brake fluid flushed?
Every 3 years or 30,000 miles. We test the brake fluid on every visit and when the contamination becomes a problem, we will recommend a brake fluid flush. However having a brake fluid flush every 30,000 miles will help ensure that your braking system lives a long and healthy life, providing you with optimum braking power, reliability and safety. And with our pricing and quick servicing, we get you back on the road quickly & economicaly! If this important service is not done every 3 years or 30,000 miles, you may experience a dangerous increase in stopping distancem failure of the ABS control assemblies, failure of the master cylinder caliper piston failure, disc brake pad & rotor damage from overheating, premature wear on the brake pads and possible brake failure.

Factory Scheduled Maintenance Services
Maintenance is the key to extending the life and maximizing the performance of your vehicle.
We recommend regularly scheduled preventive maintenance in order to keep your vehicle running efficiently, reliably and safely.
Without regular maintenance, your vehicle's life is shortened and can become prone to costly problems and issues that could have been easily prevented. In addition, most new vehicle warranties require that the vehicle is regularly maintained, or else the warranty will be rendered void.
Our Technicians are trained and certified to provide all factory recommended services and new vehicle warranty maintenance.
We do everything the dealer does at your recommended scheduled maintenance service intervals. Every vehicle requires different types of maintenance at each scheduled interval. We have the specs of what your manufacturer requires.
Preventive Maintenance Services include, but are not limited to:
- Comprehensive Safety Inspection
- Lube, Oil & Filter change (recommended every 3 months/3,000 miles with standard oil and 6 months/6,000 miles for synthetic)
- Cooling System Flush
- Brake System Check and Brake Fluid Flush
- Transmission Service and Transmission Fluid Flush
- Tire Condition inspected for wear, air pressure and rotated
- Battery Service
- Belts and Hoses inspected for wear and tear
- Air Filters inspected and replaced if necessary
- Wiper Blades checked and replaced if necessary
We can perform scheduled maintenance inspection services and stamping of service manuals, so that warranties are still valid. Don't be fooled by dealerships that tell you that the vehicle must be returned to them for all service and inspections in order to keep a valid warranty.

Pre Purchase Inspections
Purchasing a used vehicle can be risky. When excited buyers get emotionally caught up in the vehicle purchase, they often miss mechanical, cosmetic, and safety issues during visual inspections and test drives. These problems are compounded if the vehicle being purchased is located in another city and is purchased prior to being seen in person. To eliminate much of the anxiety and get an accurate picture of the condition of the vehicle, many buyers choose to have a pre-purchase inspection (PPI) done before the sale is final.
A pre-purchase inspection is a detailed assessment by a qualified individual to determine the cosmetic, mechanical, and safety condition of a vehicle before completing the purchase. Most pre-purchase inspections are done by a certified mechanic or automotive technician who is knowledgeable in the make and model of the vehicle being inspected. The intent of the PPI is to uncover existing conditions or to reveal maintenance shortcomings that may become potential safety or financial issues for the buyer in the future.
