I brought my son's car in a few months ago for an airbag fault light. This is the only auto body and collision shop in Kitsap that would take a car over 20 years old. The price for the first diagnostic test was much higher than I expected. They charged around $350 just to identify the problem! It was a fried computer system. The repair quote started around $2500, but there was no guarantee it would work or if the airbags were still good in the first place. We passed on the repair. Beyond the exorbitant prices, my biggest issue was the customer service and treatment. When we picked up the car, gross trash was on the driver's side floor mat. I raised the issue with the receptionist, and she found a manager. I showed him what was in the car. I asked why the staff would leave the car gross and dirty when it didn't come in like that. Instead of apologizing for the trouble and asking the technicians what happened, he immediately got defensive and tried to push off the blame by saying maybe it was the tow truck driver or one of my son's friends. I told him the car was not towed and the floor mat was clean when we brought it in. It took about 10 minutes of this back and forth where he kept saying his staff would never do this and it had to be someone else. Finally, he offered to spray off the mat, which he could have done initially. When he came back with the mat, he had talked to the technician, who explained the junk was stuck in the tracks under the driver's seat and came out when he pulled the seat out. It's not a huge issue. That's the kind of thing you won't find in a car unless the seat is removed. But seriously, tell me, what person would bring the car out for pickup without at least running a vacuum over the mat covered in trash??? Unacceptable!! Yet, we never got an honest apology, and the manager seemed relieved to get rid of us. I know we don't live in Bainbridge, and my son's first car was a beater, but that doesn't make my money any less green. As a side note, they don't give veteran discounts.
