In an unexpected need for urgent brake repairs, the team at Modern Collision came through with spectacularly quick service. I definitely needed it, but couldn’t have hoped it would be handled basically overnight. They were all excellent, and great to work with. I couldn’t be happier.

Dumped problem car on them, second time, and took it in stride. Advised me to go elsewhere which was a valid call. Car sitting in garage fearing for it's life. Mercedes should recall, but they will not. Onwards

Thank you Chuck and Aaron for your super spiffy speedy service when I arrived with a driver's side door window that lost its uumph! Enough of opening the door each time we needed to buy a ferry ticket at the dock! It took just 30 minutes to make the necessary repair. After being turned away from every other shop on the island. I brought my awesome 1988 civic hatchback here on a Wednesday, looking for either an engine rebuild or a swap, and Chuck said he would give me a call back with some more info. I had to call before they closed on friday only to find out they "couldn't do it", "dont have the capacity for custom work" and "couldn't find any stock engines". Sounded to me like Chuck just didn't want to bother. Anyways, I took it to Meineke right after and they gave me a quote the same day for a k24 swap (wow!) The mechanics were super friendly and told me all about what they could do for the civic. Unfortunate, but meineke gets my business from now on. (They just seemed way more excited to help me out.)

We are glad you found a shop that took care of your needs, David. We are sorry you feel that we didn't want to bother, but that is not the case. There are certain projects that do not fit within our business model, and we thought it would be best to be direct with you as to why we were unable to take on the project. Perhaps the other shops on the island that turned you away did the same? In either case, we are glad you found a solution to your problem and wish you safe travels.
