Auto Repair In Bainbridge Island

As has almost always been the case in the 20 plus years I and my family have been taking our vehicles to Modern Collision for routine mechanical service, for repairs and for accident body work, the Modern Collision team were prompt, friendly and clear. Recommendations were clearly communicated with reasonable price quotes. The work was done well and as agreed. I was given a complimentary ride from my home to the shop to pick up the car, which had been well-cleaned in and out - a complimentary service that is greatly appreciated and builds good will. As always, I received a report on issues not now needing repair that the shop is monitoring.This is a long-time island family business that treats its customers and employees very well. It is not the least expensive alternative for an oil change, the reason I went in. But it is the best alternative. On this occasion, unknown problems were found and timely fixed at a fair price, and other problems were investigated and discussed. The total bill was reasonable. And the service, professionalism and courtesy of everyone I dealt with, down to the new young man who gave me a ride to pick up the car, was great and genuine. Chris Pence

took my car down here a couple weeks ago, i told them that i might need a new wheel bearing, but after they inspect it turn out to be the axle is just loose, they toque it down properly and now my car runs like it was before

After visiting three other mechanics on the island and being disappointed, I think I finally found a garage I can count on. I started going there because they won the 2016 Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce award and I think they deserved it. Also they washed my car so well at the end of a routine visit it was like having it detailed. Bonus.

Rented a car for a few days while we visited the island. You need a car to get around Bainbridge and at approx $25/day why not.Modern Collision picked us up from the ferry and took us back. We rented an island car (subaru wagon) that worked out great. I felt like a native tooling around in the subaru.They were friendly, professional and helpful.

I always bring my cars to Modern Collision Rebuild and Service. They are quick, make sure that you stay informed, and do great work. I recently took my SUV in after the check engine light came on. A rodent had got into the engine and chewed through some wires. They were able to get the part in that week and get me back on my way. Their shuttle van makes it easy to drop my car in when its convenient for me.
